Condo or Beach House on the Emerald Coast? How to Choose the Right Rental for Your Group

Home  /  Blog  /  Travel Guide

The first decision on the Emerald Coast is not which beach, it is condo or house. What each really gives you, which groups each suits, and the details that catch people out.

Frequently asked questions

Is a condo or a house better for a family in Panama City Beach?
For couples and small families, a Gulf-front or Gulf-view condo puts the beach and pool at your feet with nothing to maintain. For large groups and multi-family trips, a house gives space, privacy, and often a private pool.
How strict are occupancy limits in Panama City Beach and 30A rentals?
Strict. The sleeping count on a listing is the legal maximum, including children, and counties on this coast enforce it. Book by the official count, not by how many people you think will fit.
Do condos include parking?
Condo parking is by pass and usually covers one or two vehicles. Extra cars often have nowhere to park, so plan the vehicle count before booking.
Do 30A beach houses come with a golf cart?
Some do. Our golf cart vacation rentals page lists the homes that include one, and our Golf Cart and Bicycle Policy explains the rules for using it.
Which does Coastal Vacation Rentals manage?
Both: Gulf-front condos at Sunrise Beach and Sterling Reef in Panama City Beach, and houses with private pools and golf carts on 30A, all bookable directly on our site.
